March 2010(Sean Taylor's Newsletter)Vol. 26

For the past three Valentine's Days, Robin and I have written songs for each other. This seems simple enough but besides playing the trombone in beginning band in 7th grade, I have no musical experience or confidence. This has not stopped me from fulfilling my commitment. It has, however, prolonged the endeavor and made my final products seem very, very rough. Robin, on the other hand, is pretty good at it.

Since it's St. Patrick's month, here's a limerick...

Ode to the Olympics

The Olympics being over fills me with sadness,
White on pipe was total radness
Mancuso and Vonn
what they had goin' on,
will likely be lost to March Madness

Tips, Tricks, and Schticks - It's my pleasure to announce the debut of an improv workshop I will be teaching on Sunday, March 14th. It's called "Save the Show" and targets any improviser that has ever had a bad show. No need to sign up, just bring $10 and drop-in at noon to the Magnet Training Center - Room B, 259 W. 30th St (bet 7th & 8th ave, 2nd floor) - click here for more details

This One's For Hire - In addition to improv coaching (available Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat), I now have a headshot. This means if you know any casting directors or agents looking for a new 8"x10" coaster for their coffee mugs, I've got plenty to spare. Also, if you or someone you know is putting on a play, shooting a movie, or casting a sketch let them know I'm available. I'm fun to have on set and my mom says I have "leading man potential."

Headshooter - Keith Huang took my photo. He's quick, convenient, courteous and really good at what he does. Try him out on March 22nd for $100 and you'll be happy you did (click here to reserve your spot).
